The Group's operations comprise two divisions: Cape Town-based Cipla Medpro, the country's third largest pharmaceutical company by value (IMS, December 2012) and provider of an extensive range of chronic medicines and OTC (Over-the-Counter) products to the public and private sector; and Cipla Medpro Manufacturing, one of the first international PIC/S compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in South Africa, based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, which manufactures select lines of the group's products as well as offering contract manufacturing solutions to local and multinational companies.
